We have been mandated to search for our client, a high-profile private family in the Geneva area, for their Wardrobe Manager / Housekeeper/Lady’s Maid. This is a great opportunity to stay for the long-term with the family (indefinite contract, 100%) .

You would be working in pairs/in tandem with another Wardrobe Manager / Housekeeper. You would be working for one week and then have one week off and this throughout the whole year. In addition, you will have 5 week’s holidays.

Around 50% of your time, you would spend on wardrobe tasks, the other 50% on housekeeping tasks.

Main responsibilities:

You will attend to the needs of the family at their different residences in Switzerland (Geneva & Gstaad) & occasionally abroad.

You will have meticulous standards towards wardrobe management, care taking of unique garments and liaise reparations and/or cleanings with various boutiques.

You will be in charge of the wardrobe inventory system, keeping it updated at all times.

You will provide outstanding housekeeping services to the changing needs of the family, anticipating the needs of the principals, working closely and reporting to the Property Manager / General Manager.

You will maintain impeccable standards throughout the home and provide hands-on service in areas such as cleaning, tidying, laundry, ironing, wardrobe organization.


Your profile:

You have gained experience in such a role/a similar role with private families or in luxury hotels

You have a very good knowledge of English (in addition, some knowledge of French would be desired)

You have a driver’s licence

You have an interest in care taking of unique wardrobe pieces

You have a great eye for details

You are eligible to work in Switzerland (EU/Swiss passport or Swiss permit)

You are flexible to travel with the family


We are looking for a candidate who is looking for a long-term opportunity. The role comes with a competitive salary. Your main base would be in Geneva (no accommodation provided) , but when you travel with the family accommodation would be provided. The starting date is from now onwards, but can be discussed depending on your availability.
