Do you have an excellent experience of steel production and related processes? Are you a native German speaker and have an excellent knowledge of English and Italian? This opportunity is for you!

Responsibilities


Manage and expand the existing customer base in the steel industry

Acquire new customers, analyze market potentials and developments

Advice customers on selecting the right technical products and solutions

Organize the necessary technical and commercial visits to the customers in the selected area (DACH)

Understand technical specifications / drawings and customer requirements

Supervise technical installations and trials follow up

Edit and conduct product presentations

Prepare quotations and conducting negotiations

Manage the commercial topics around the order process

Monitor market trends and develop sales strategies

Participate in trade fairs and industry events

Collaborate with internal departments (Sales Back office, Research & Development, Production and Logistics)

Report to the Management

Profile

High level education in Engineering (focus on Metallurgy, Material Science, Industrial Chemistry)

Solid experience in technical sales steel industry / refractory production

Knowledge of steel production and related processes

Understanding applications of the refractory products

German native; very good English and Italian knowledge

Good user knowledge of systems and MS Office

Ability to work in an industrial / heavy industrial environment

Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindset

Autonomous approach and organization

Analytical and goal-oriented

Motivated personality

Team player / networker in an international environment

Intercultural relationship management skills

Willingness to frequently travel (mainly Germany, Austria and Switzerland) is required
