Job main responsibilities
We're looking for a dynamic problem-solver who can tackle challenges with creative solutions and lead our teams to new heights. You'll work closely with cross-functional groups to brainstorm ideas, create action plans, and drive projects from concept to completion. Your knack for making informed decisions and delivering compelling presentations will be key in influencing stakeholders and steering our strategic direction.
In this role, you'll assess state-of-the-art tools to boost our innovation and project management game, analyse market trends for strategic insights, and cultivate external networks to enhance Omya's reputation. Plus, you'll dive into our IP processes, research tech trends, and help shape our innovation initiatives. Specifically, you'll focus on advancing our efforts in Carbon Capture and permanent storage of CO2. Your profile
Master's degree in business administration, innovation management or a related field
Engineering background in natural sciences is a big plus
3+ years of success in innovation-facing roles or scientific project management, preferably in industrial environments
Passion for Innovation: Eager to develop new products and solutions, with a keen
sense for promising entrepreneurial ventures
Skilled in handling business-driven innovation projects, with competencies in program management methodologies and curiosity for the latest innovation practices and tools
Exceptional communicator, comfortable at engaging with diverse audiences, including external stakeholders, and adept at balancing their interests
Team Player who's ready to support peers and senior management, understanding their needs and responding accordingly
Fluent in English and German
Open to occasional domestic and international travel as needed
